[CoE Office of Academic Affairs] Urgent notice for students taking face-to-face labs/practice-based classes

Since May 6th, the College of Engineering (CoE) has permitted limited face-to-face gatherings only for those classes for which in-person meetings are essential. For this CoE has made best efforts to ensure the safety of our students. However, due to the recent spread of infections in Itaewon, CoE has decided to allow students who do not want to commute to the campus for fear of COVID-19 infection to continue to take labs and practice-based classes online for the rest of the semester with absolutely no penalty.

[CoE Office of Student Affairs] Urgent notice for all students

Due to the recent spread of COVID-19 infections in Itaewon, all students who have visited either Itaewon clubs, restaurants, etc., or places visited by the COVID-19 confirmed between April 24th and May 6th must practice self-quarantine for 14 days “regardless of one’s symptoms”. According to the severity of the situation, the student must strictly follow the preventive measures stipulated by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and contact a local public health center or call 1339 for consultation. Also, please notify any updates regarding this matter to Ms.
